Jhn. 1:14, “And The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
The true Christian condition is the practice of abiding in Him. It is an experiential dependence on and in His Person. Knowledge of His truth, His Work, and His doctrine is necessary, but to abide in Him means that I am experiencing the living and divine Person of Christ.
There is in truth but One Person, two natures united in His Person. He is never God apart from Man, nor Man apart from God.
Yes, united in one Person is grace and truth, God and Man yet in one Person. This, in itself, is so immense, because it makes it impossible for any other man, in his own mind, to be able to put it all together. This makes it necessary for us that are His to abide in His very Person. We don't know anything in reality without Him.
When God became a Man in Christ, all distance was removed for us. God has given us the Holy Spirit to always glorify Him, and Him alone.
