The I AM

Jesus said in Jhn.14:6, “I AM, the way, the truth, and the life.” Every time 'the' is mentioned, it is saying to you and I -- "I Am the only way for you", I Am the truth to you and for you" and "I Am the life to you and for and in you".

He put on, as God's eternal Son, a human body because He so desired to make you and I one with Him, so that we, as one with Him in His humanity, could share and have the same eternal loving Father.

His Father gave His Son to and for us, and the Son, in giving Himself to His Father, could give Himself to us. In this way, they could give to us the Holy Spirit, the promised One, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.

Yes, God, the Triune God is love. God who is love, in providing for Himself, who is love, has provided for us because He loves you and me with a love that can't ever be greater than Him. Col. 2:9 says, when Jesus walked the earth in His impeccable humanity, He was filled up with all of who God is. Col. 2:10 says that now, you and I as His own, are filled up IN HIM. Yes, you and I have the treasure of Christ IN US.

Let's have our thought today be, Gen. 22:8, son, daughter, everyone-- God HAS provided for us all His Lamb, His Son.

God has dealt with the sin question with the answer of His Son and His Son is our answer in having paid for all personal sins. Today and throughout all eternity He is our answer that has answered our every question. He has all eternity to show His love for us, and how it has answered us (Jhn. 13:1, 34-35; Eph. 3:1-21).
