The energy of God’s nature is love, the purity of His nature is light.

Love, of our brethren, is a divine affection, and decides whether we are Christian’s or not. (1Jn.3:14-20). It is His love and light for us that causes us to beware of self-deceit. (Rom.12:9;Obadiah3).

Because God’s love for us is a divinely drawn inference, sure and strong, and our love for God, which is His love returned to Him with our wills submitted to Him in obedience ((1Jn.4:10=19;5:1-3), allows us no excuse for failure in love. (fleshly excuses for hatred Jn.15:22). When we fail we can be thankful for 1Jn1:7,9).

Love is kind, (1Cor.13:4-8) and when we are kind to each other, we are returning His love to Him in faithfulness, and loving obedience. Love is in the will, a will that is submitted to God in returning to Him the faithfulness of Himself. (Rev.21:5;Heb.11:6;Rom.1:17).

He loves us with a love that WILL never let us go. (Jn.6:37,39;10:28-29).

Pr.10:12;17:17;18:24;27:5-6,17.
