The anticipative love of God is that which flows in and through His prevenient grace. His prevenient grace is that grace which goes ahead of us and prepares us to meet Him in the light and truth that is Christ Himself.
When we want everything to be the way we want it to be, we necessarily make ourselves the ones to be considered and that according to our judgment, our understanding. The truth is it is God's judgment, His understanding for us in Christ, our Father's understanding that we have to do with. Because of this, the very position that we may think is the least suited to us may be the one where He knows we will best learn that knowledge and experience of which we are still ignorant.
Thank God that He knows the times we need to be renewed. Those times when we need repetition, intensity, reversals. To be renovated inwardly to experience new freshness.
(Renewed, anakaioo). The reason, of course, that God is doing this is to cause us to grow in the grace, knowledge, and truth of His Son. That way we won't be estranged away from His love and grace for us that are located and positioned in The Son of His love. That way we won't be non-participators of His love and grace. (Alienated, apallotrioo).
He uses the place we are in to draw us to His affectionate embrace, instead of us living in indifference where His love was once our experience. That way the enemy or the flesh cannot apply us to a wrong use (Jhn. 10:10).
