Steps in His Presence

What are God’s thoughts about Himself to you and I? What are His thoughts about you to you? What are His thoughts to you about others?
We know, from Scripture, that God has One true thought, and only One true Word—His Son, our precious Lord and Savior. (Jn.1:1,14=Her.29:11=Eph.2:14). God, in His unchangeable love for us, does not want us to miss His Presence (Ps.16:11) that is present by looking (thought) back or ahead. Our life is Christ Himself (Gal.2:20;Col.3:4), and we grow (2P.3:18) in the steps of the details of His plan, we are to take one step (obedience and dependence) at a time. Going back or ahead, in the thought life, steals His present Presence. (See Jn.10:10a).
When I’m not taking present steps, by going back, I won’t have what I need now—His Presence that is present, and I will not have His preparation for the future ahead.
Our past is gone (as far as God only views in in Christ alone), but is used by God to teach the reality of the NOW of His Presence. There is no life or reality for us in the past, it is gone, and no life yet for us to experience NOW in the future. (Of course, we are held securely in the eternal hands of His Son).
His I AM (His eternal answer to all) is my present reality. What is real is in His present hands. What is real is Christ (in you and I, Col.1:27), our ever-present reality, our own unique and intimate, and true, only identity.
(Here are the Scriptural truths: Heb.12:1;2Cor.4:18;5:7;Is.30:18,21;Ps.16:8-11;Jn.14:8-9;Ps.37:23;Job31:4;1P.2:21;Pr.3:5;Is.48:9;2Cor.6:1-2;1Jn.5:20;Ex.3:14).
