Read Mt.13:15 and then read verse 16, “But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.”
Eph. 1:18, “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,”
1 Jhn. 1:1-3, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the word of life: (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
Gal. 1:6, “I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:”
Gal. 3:1, “O Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched (fascinated, dazzled, distracted) you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth, crucified among you? ( read 3:1-4).”
Early Sunday morning I woke up to study, feeling physically exhausted and overwhelmed by looking at life's details, circumstances, and situations. I just picked up my little green Bible and just opened it randomly to Genesis, and my eyes were instantly filled with thankfulness, that I could open my Bible and see God, and be able to see with God how He sees. And then I thought of the millions of people that can't do, for whatever reason, what I was enabled by God to do.
Then God put on my heart to call my dear friend, who is closer than a brother, and tell him what God did for me in, again, giving Himself to me through His precious Word.
Proverbs 17:8, A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that has it: wherever it turns, it prospers.
