Now Faith, then Face to Face

Until we see Him face to face, we experience Christ, who is our very life, by faith, not by what we sense or can see, but what is unseen. Always unseen by the natural man (1 Cor. 2:14). He is the one who may know scripture, but only through himself.
There are two things about this walk of faith, First, we are to not just know about peace, we are to experience the peace of soul. The peace of who Christ is and what He has accomplished in relationship (keyword), to the consciousness of self. Second, that we experience in this walk of faith is the very power for the walk of faith. I can believe in someone's testimony, but it is a whole different thing to experience trust in that Someone.
There is the Word of God, to which I can mix faith with (absolute trust and confidence in who Christ is and in what He has done). I can experience a confident trust to where I am headed, soon, in His time, to be with Him forever, in uninterrupted fellowship.
This gives us not only power for the walk of faith but peace in and for the walk. Christ is the unseen Object. Christ is more real, more of a reality than anything seen or felt. What were we worth to Him, and is He worth our trust and complete confidence? Can I trust and rest in Him, where God is resting?
It is characteristic of faith to count on God, not only in difficulty but in that which is seemingly impossible.
Come whatever may, sifting, trial, whatever it may be, the foundation of our peace is never touched. Our foundation, our immovable Rock, is Christ Himself, our precious Savior.
