Light versus Darkness

Mt .4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region (place) and shadow of death (separation) light is sprung up.

1 Jn. 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in Him (Christ) and in you (You in Christ and Christ in you) because the darkness is past (and gone forever for those in Christ) and the true light now is shining.

The darkness (the flesh in the Christian that WAS under satan, Rom. 8:9) is PAST, that old sin nature, those sins that brought guilt based upon condemnation, Rom. 8:1, that fleshly self-life that functioned in the world system under satan, and NOW (the eternal NOW life of Christ in us, Col. 1:27; 1 Jn. 5:11) the true light is shining, the light of nothing but that love-life of Christ in each of us.

Christ’s own heart is FOR (see Rom. 8:31-39) every one of His own. (1 Cor. 6:19-20). You and I are His own in the most intimate and personal way. (Rev. 2:17).

So, let us not function outside of His heart of this love-life of light FOR you and I. Anything outside of this intimate love-life of light in Christ is simply an escape mechanism designed and used by satan to steal, kill, and destroy the experience of this love-life of light, that intimate oneness with Christ. (Jn. 10:10).
