In Christ Jesus

”In Christ Jesus” is the definition of all Christian, and it defines them as a people identified with the One who as a Man has entered into the presence of God; “for in that He died, He died unto sin once; but that in that He lives, He lives unto God” (Rom.6:10=2Cor.5:14=15).

“In Christ” is the language of complete identification. (Col.2:10=1Jn.4:17=18). Crucified with Him on the Cross (Gal.2:20=Col.3:3-4), His resurrection was, and eternally is, the divine declaration of our acceptance (Eph.1:6) with Him in HIS WORK (Gen.3:15;22:8;Jn.17:4;19:30) and place. (Ps.110:1;Mt.22:44;Mk.12:36;Lk.20:42;Ac.2:34;1Cor.15:25;Eph.1:20;Heb.1:13;10:12-13;1P.3:22;Rev.1:16,20).

From our place “In Christ” the eye of God sees us ever in HIM ALONE. (Job36:7=1Cor.1:20). We are reckoned, by God Himself that WE ARE IN THE SON OF HIS LOVE (Jn.1:1=14=Col.1:12-13), and we are to reckon ourselves, as with Him dead (Rom.6:9;Col.3:3;Gal.2:20), buried (Ps.103:10-12;Mic.7:18-19-20), enlivened (Phil.1:21), risen (Mt.28:6=Rom.8:11), and in Him (Eph.1:1-23) seated in the heavens (Eph.1:20=21=2:6) before the Father. (Jn.20:17).

His delight in us is His unchangeable delight in His His Beloved Son; therefore the Lord Jesus says to us, “because I live, you will live also” (Jn.14:19).
