God's Way or Distance

God's way, His only way, His only way with us, is with and through His only-begotten Son.
Our Lord was there, in the midst of the sin and failure of Adam and Eve, teaching them this way in His pre-incarnate state.
Both Cain and Abel were taught this only way by their parents. Abel brought the best of his flock, an innocent victim, a source completely outside of himself. Cain brought the works of his hands from the ground that was cursed by God because of sin.
The more that man embraces the idea that, like Cain, he can remove the distance between himself and God, the more he hates God's way of removing the distance. Just look at the case of those religious Pharisees in their murderous hatred of Jesus Christ our Lord.
God must continuously teach us that His only way is His way or the distance created by satan. He is the master of creating distance between the un-saved and God. He is the master at creating distance between the believer and God and creating distance between believers with each other.
There may be times when we can't fellowship with other believers, but there can never be the distance of being separated from each other in Christ. One of the ways the enemy tries and unfortunately is successful is through ignorance, a lack of biblically sound teaching.
Distance is never created by God. He gave us His only-begotten Son, and in doing so, for us in Christ, removed all distance. By the grace of God, the enemy won't be able to harden our wills in certain areas of our thoughts and lives and create distance between God and us and other believers.
It is always and only God's way with us through Christ, or we go out from the presence of God, into the world system, and form a god to meet the lusts of the flesh. For us, it is God the Father's way, through His Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit. For without Him we can do nothing but self-destruction.
We have everything of God in Him alone.
