Forgiveness

1 Jn. 2:1, little children, here, is the Greek word teknia, and means what ever age you are, how ever His grace and truth has matured you, you still are, and always will be forever His child. (See Rom. 8:15-16; Gal. 4:6-7; 1 Jn. 3:18).

Why would we think otherwise than to run to Him at all times? (See Ps.62:5, 8; 16:8, 12; 2 Tim. 2:22; 1 Jn. 4:8).

I have failed and have failed others in the beauty of Christ and what He has finished and accomplished, but my failures have never marred or changed the beauty of His changeless, immutable, matchless Person and work in me, or those that I have failed.

So thankful, that I am not my failures, or how I have failed others has ever been the definition of who they are, or who I am, made in the image of the Son of His love. So very thankful for the confirmation of that love for me, for others, that is so necessary to continue in a proper image and relationship—-that forgiveness that is ours in Him.
