Finding Strength

Christ's yesterday was the accomplishment of redemption. His tomorrow is having His Church with Himself in glory, but He is a living Christ for today (Heb. 4:12).
The world won't follow Christ as the crucified One. At the death of Christ, the whole orderly system down here got stamped as under judgment, and responsible for the death of Christ (Acts 17:31). By the cross, the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world (Gal. 6:14). Nothing is so important as for Christians to take the place they ought to be in, of entire separation from what God, in the Scriptures, calls "the world." (1 Jhn. 2:15-17).
If you and I cannot see Christ with us in the furnace, we can be quite sure He IS there (Dan. 3:17-25). Whatever the place I am brought into, I will find the sweet for the bitter if He is with me (Heb. 13:5).
Let's not allow Christ to have second place. It is to be nothing else than Christ and you, and you and Christ, all the way through the wilderness (Deut. 29:5). Let Him always be the only object before your mind (Heb. 12:2 Amp). Refuse to see anything except Him (2 Cor. 5:7).
Having Him you will find strength for everything. The very taste of weakness should link our hearts with strength in Another--with that One whose strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Cor. 12:9).
