Christ, our only Object

Hold fast to Him, not my, your feelings (emotions)—but Him alone. Reckon, count on His abundant grace, in Him, to reproduce Him in the power of the Father’s love.

Recognize God’s hand that is upon us, with humble confidence in the purpose of the Father for the glory of His own Son, for there will a great door of blessing, and spreading forth into the doors, which He alone opens, and which no created being can shut.
